Fish goujons and chips

We bought some lemon sole fillets from the fish counter as they were so cheap! Turning them into fish goujons was simple - just cut into smaller pieces, lightly season and flour. Our small pieces of fish were fried in a little oil for just 30 seconds to one minute in total each side! We were really impressed with the delicate flavour.
Served with our own OVEN CHIPS and some peas. Our evening meal came to around 500 calories at most. We thought these oven chips were some of the best we've tasted and possibly due to the variety of potato - saxon. This might be a middle of the road potato - not too waxy and not too floury. We added a slice of bread - to make that all important chip butty - bringing our meal to around 650 calories. Very filling and delicious.
