Fresh pasta

Here's our fresh pasta (which can also be bought from most supermarkets). We made a fresh tomato and garlic sauce - such an easy thing to do that I wish I'd realised this years ago. The last time we made this, we made a very tasty chilli/tomato sauce. I didn't fancy chilli today, so swapped it for a bit of extra garlic. We ate this with some warm crusty bread and butter. It was delicious. This portion of pasta is around 400 calories - and with the bread my evening meal came to around 500 calories.
That's a good start to the week. Fending off the indulgent weekend with food like this makes it easier.

Why not search our blog for other meals and their calorie count. Just type in the number of calories and the meals will be listed. Or type in an ingredient, and the recipes will come up.
