Weekend plan

We're off to the fireworks tonight, so we have decided on having steak with watercress salad when we return. If we have time, we'll make some filo wrapped potatoes, which are pre-cooked and can be put back in the oven to reheat when we're ready. A bit fiddly, but the result is very tasty - and it makes a nice change.
Tomorrow we're having a Sunday roast. We fancy chicken, so we're off to buy this from our butcher. I don't know why, but the flavour of the chicken is much more intense. We pay a little bit more, but as we've decide to make a chicken soup with the leftovers, we don't mind spending a little extra.
Lunch today is likely to be a sausage sandwich.
