Tandoori salmon bites

Tandoori salmon bites
These spicy SALMON party bites are based on our competition winning Tandoori party bites, with our recipe printed on the Total Greek yoghurt pots as a result.
They are easy to prepare and low in calories, at around 50 calories each. Eat them as a light starter or lunch too. Serve them hot or cold.
These versatile party bites work out at around 25p each, with a small 120g piece of salmon creating 10-12 snacks.
Take a look at our recipe below.

TANDOORI SALMON BITES
Makes 10-12
Ingredients
120g fillet of salmon
Greek yoghurt
Lime
Lemon
Salt/pepper
Ready made Tandoori paste (such as Pataks)
Spring onion
Little gem lettuce
Sweet chilli dipping sauce
*
Wash lettuce and separate the leaves.

Slice the spring onions and set aside.

Cut the salmon into small cubes around 12g each.

Mix the Tandoori paste with a little yoghurt and lemon juice and add the salmon pieces. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the salmon for around 3 minutes each side.

When ready to assemble, season the lettuce with salt and pepper. Add a teaspoon of yoghurt and one or two pieces of spring onion to the lettuce and finish with the tandoori salmon pieces.

Serve with lime wedges - squeeze a little onto the party bites just before serving.  Dip into the sweet chilli sauce and enjoy.
