you really wanted a cheese and pickle sandwich? So why not start with what your really want... work out where the food you desire most fits into your daily allowance, and EAT IT. If you don't, you'll probably eat the salad, then look around for something 'tasty' to eat too.
Now my lunch was a sort-of saintly salad, tuna, cheese, egg and new potatoes all add up to around 450 calories. It'll fill me up until later when I'm apparently being whisked off for a gourmet surprise! I reckon I'll be needing one or two calories to play with, don't you! I might even go for a longer walk than usual - a little exercise all adds up.
