EASY SLOW COOKED BRISKET OF BEEF
Begin by marinating your beef joint overnight in the following RUB
one teaspoon each of smoked paprika
ordinary paprika,
cumin,
dried thyme
salt and pepper
Then place it in the oven covered in foil, sat on a bed of onions and a small cup of water. It slowly cooked for around 4 hours at 120°C while we were out shopping. We then added some peeled potatoes and turned up the heat to 180° and continued cooking until the potatoes were done.
We served with salad and some boiled sweetcorn. Delicious!! Cheap and tasty.
